Great vibe. Love the cabin style interior with amazing woodwork. 'Game' style meats. Go upstairs for the whiskey bar and incredible views.
Fabulous experience for our anniversary dinner. Food was excellent. They made it a very special occasion for us with a great table and anniversary dessert.
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary there and upon knowing this, the owner gave us a free dessert with a 'Happy Anniversary' message written in chocolate. The staff is very helpful and friendly, from servers to busboys, they all took the time to ensure we were having a lovely evening. And don't get me started on the food, it was DELICIOUS. Would definitely go again!
Always a great visit to saddlepeak. We go every year for our anniversary and the food is always perfect. My wife got the duck which was delicious and cooked perfect. I went for the game trio which is a great way to try many things.
The Game Trio is why you come here! Seating inside the lodge or the patio outside, either is nice. Many people prefer outside but inside is also nice with rustic old lodge feel. Valet parking available. Tucked into the canyon hills location. Their wine prices are high but their clientele probably doesn't care Justin Cabernet is 3x normal. Great service with helpful suggestions. 1000% recommend the Game Trio! Loved the Elk on that plate. Also the Shishito Peppers appetizer. Portions are good size for the money. This place ain't cheap but the food and atmosphere is worth a special trip.
No place like this anywhere near LA. Very unique. Service on our night was slow and forgetful but they made up for it with free wine and dessert. Great ambiance. Hard to do upscale in an old hunting lodge but they pull it off.
Location is beautiful! Staff is courteous and accommodating. Unique menu. Catherine was a great server. Simi ( not our server) but passed by and was so fun, friendly and engaging ! I would come back just to chat with her! Great place highly recommended.
Everything was beautifully done. The wait staff was incredible. The food was quite good, but some of it way overpriced for the size of the portions. The ambience is both lovely and grotesque. Too many dead animals decorating the place everywhere you look. I know it’s a hunters lodge, but oh my God! It’s everywhere! Rather overwhelming.

We enjoyed really enjoyed our dinner and Alex our server did a terrific job taking care of us. I think they have a new chef as many of the appetizers were very inventive and delicious. The potato puffs with truffles, the nduja cannolis, pork belly were incredible and the cast iron jonny cake an old standby was perfect as always. The fillet and rib eye steaks were cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The cocktail menu wonderful. Dont miss the expresso martini. And the new deserts also a big hit. The ambience, service and new creative menu made it a memorable evening for all!
